Nollywood has been thrown into mourning due to Aderounmu Adejumoke’s death, and Deyemi Okanlowon took to Instagram to express his grief about her passing.
In the post he made, Deyemi shared a recorded conversation between him and Adejumoke from November. He texted her, saying that her thought crossed his mind, and that is why he reached out. Adejumoke replied by asking after his kids, and saying that she would also make out time to reach out to him.
The caption that Deyemi Okanlowon wrote said, “Death brings everything into perspective often times helping us see how trivial some of the things we concern ourselves with are.
Jumoke I am so so sorry, I thought we had all the time in the world and really should have just called. Goodbye my dear friend. We will continue the conversations in a better place! Pls pick up the phone and call someone you love today..”
It is evident that Deyemi and Adejumoke maintained a level of friendship beyond their work as actors.
In his comment section, Deyemi’s fans sent words of encouragement and expressed their shock over her death.
