Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky has been sentenced to jail for 6 months without an option of a fine.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos, sentenced him to 6 months imprisonment without the option of a fine in a judgment she made this morning, April 12, 2024.
It is no longer news that Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission over alleged currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira.
During his court hearing, last week, he pleaded guilty to Naira abuse and pleaded with the court and judge to give him another chance.
He promised to make good use of his platform to inform and educate his followers about spraying money as he begged the judge to tamper justice with Mercy. Unfortunately, the judge didn’t excuse his bad behavior and reserved his case till April 9th.
