Award-winning Nollywood actress, Bimbo Ademoye, has revealed how film producers in the Nigerian film industry wanted to take advantage of her curvaceous body.
In a recent interview with the “Sun Newspaper”, the movie star revealed that filmmakers wanted her to play s.lutty roles in films because of her “Figure 8,” but she refused.
According to her, she was offered roles as a s.exy secretary, side ch!ck, or husband sn@tcher because of her t!ny waist and curvy h!ps, but she wasn’t comfortable with them.
In Her Words,
“To be honest with you, everybody wanted to make use of the body. Everybody wanted me to play the s.exy secretary or the girl that sn@tched someone’s husband, or the one that sn@tched the other person’s boyfriend.
But it was Uduak Isong that took a chance on me. She gave me a role different from what I was used to and since then, it has been amazing. People started calling me to come and act in this comedy role, come and feature in this and that.
It has really been very wonderful since then. I can say I owe that woman a lot for the opportunity she gave to me.”
The talented film star, who recently won the award for Best Actress in a Comedy at the AMVCA 2023, also revealed that she has never slept with a producer for a film role.
She Said;
“I came into the industry through Uduak Isong. I didn’t experience the issues of sleeping with producers because of roles and I have never slept with anybody for that. She was more like a mother to me when I started”
