Nollywood Actor, Jide Awobona talks on being sidelined from big Nollywood projects by his colleagues.
He was asked why some of the big cinema projects of some of his colleagues both English and Yoruba a lot of them don’t call him despite his abundance of talent.
Jide Awobona stated that he feel so bad about it, he even mentioned that he has spoken to the host asking him why he don’t call him for his cinema movie because he really don’t know why, in fact he was supposed to be on a big project but his name has been pencil down and later he got a call that his name has been replaced with someone else.
He further stated that the movie industry is so funny that if you lullaby too much at the end of the day you might get nothing for recommending and it will be like he begged me to be on his movie.
At this stage, I shouldn’t be begging for roles, I should get them on merit he said.
