Rita Dominic (born July 12, 1975) is a Nigerian actress, producer, and co-founder of The Audrey Silva Company.
Early Life and Education:
Rita Dominic was born in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, to a family of four children. Her father, a medical doctor, and her mother, a nursing officer, instilled in her a strong sense of discipline and hard work.
She attended Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, and later graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a BA in Theatre Arts in 1999.
Career:
Rita began acting at the age of five in local television dramas. She joined the Nigerian film industry in 1998 and rose to prominence with her starring role in the movie “A Time To Kill” With over 100 Nollywood films under her belt, Rita has received numerous awards and nominations, including the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) Best Actress, and Kalasha Awards.

Personal Life:
Rita Dominic is married to Fidelis Anosike, the publisher of Daily Times Newspaper. The couple married in April 2022, with their white wedding ceremony taking place in the United Kingdom in November of the same year.
Dominic has stated that she chose to marry late in life because she wanted to ensure she was marrying for the right reasons, and not due to societal pressure.
