“My friend Sonia is missing. She boarded a bus from Lead City University going home to Lagos. She was last heard from by 1 p.m. and said she was in Ijebu Ode. Since then, we have been unable to locate her. Her phone has been switched off. PLEASE ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.”
A young Nigerian woman named Sonia has been reported missing by her friend Tobi after she departed from Ibadan for Lagos on August 1, 2024.
Tobi stated that Sonia boarded a vehicle at Lead City University in Ibadan, Oyo State, on the afternoon of Thursday, August 1, 2024, with the intention of traveling to Lagos.
Tobi reported that Sonia was last heard from around 1 p.m. on the same day, when she mentioned that she was in Ijebu Ode.
Since then, there has been no further communication, and Sonia’s phone has been turned off.
