Aisha Lawal is a Nigerian actress, scriptwriter, and filmmaker who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning over a decade, she has established herself as a talented and versatile artist.

Early Life

Aisha Lawal was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, in the southwestern region of Nigeria. She attended Adeen International School and Federal Government College, Ogbomoso. She developed a passion for acting at a young age, participating in stage plays. Aisha later attended Lead City University, where she obtained a degree in law and a second degree in public administration.

Career

Aisha Lawal attended Femi Adebayo’s J15 School of Performing Arts from 2008 to 2010, where she honed her acting skills. Her first film was Adunmadeke, where she played the role of a prostitute. She rose to fame with her role in Irugbin and has since acted in over 100 movies. Aisha has also produced up to ten films, including Imu Nika and Opon Ife. Recent notable works include Love Castle (2021) and Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix movie AnĂ­kĂșlĂĄpĂł (2022), where she played the role of Olori Sunkanmi.
