The cast of actress Iyabo Ojo’s upcoming movie, Labake Olododo, has been formally revealed.
Iyabo introduced the ensemble group in a video clip that she posted on her Instagram page on Thursday.
Several well-known Nollywood actors, including Mercy Aigbe, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Fathia Balogun, Broda Shaggi, Muka Ray, Wumi Toriola, and Iyabo herself, are on the lineup.
Expressing her gratitude, she captioned the post, “The highly anticipated day is finally here! I’m overflowing with gratitude for my incredible cast and crew.
“Thank you for being part of this epic cinematic journey, Labake Olododo. Your hard work and dedication mean the world to me.
“To my amazing fans, please tag your favorite cast members and show them some love. Let them know how much their efforts are appreciated.
“And to my crew members, your love and support have made this journey unforgettable. Thank you all for your tireless efforts. Let the journey begin!”
To celebrate the reveal, Iyabo Ojo hosted a special cast and crew soiree at her Fespris Studio in Lekki, Lagos.
Earlier in June, the actress announced her return to film production after a hiatus, revealing that Labake Olododo would mark her first movie release in several years.
The film, directed by Biodun Stephen, is a collaborative effort with executive producers Iyabo Ojo, Filmone Studios, and Alaba Ultimate.
The release date remains undisclosed.
