The late musician Ilerioluwa Promise, also known as Mohbad, is being remembered for a year by Nigerian actor and skit creator Abiola AbdulGagar, also referred to as Cute Abiola.
To refresh your mind, on September 12, 2023, Mohbad, a previous signee of Naira Marley’s record label, unfortunately died at the age of 27 under mysterious circumstances. Videos of him being harassed by his former boss and his members circulated after his death.
Today, September 12, 2024, marks the one-year remembrance of the late singer, and to remember him, Cute Abiola took to his Instagram page to share a clip of the singer at an event. He noted how it’s been a year as he urged him to rest on.
“A year ago, today. Rest on Legend”.
