Popular veteran actor Emmanuel France has reportedly passed away at 81 years old.
The news of his tragic passing was shared on his Instagram page by Nollywood actor and Nigerian filmmaker, Olufemi Ogedengbe, who shared how he impacted the life of the deceased.
Femi described him as both a legend and a mentor, recalling how he took the late actor to Tanzania in 2006, where they collaborated on three movie projects. However, the cause of his death remains unknown at this time.
He wrote, “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood legends. Uncle Emmanuel France, One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006 , Shot three movie with him ; Cross MY sin, She Is My Sister & THE Director. R.I.P”.
Emmanuel France was a beloved figure in Nollywood, known for his profound dedication to acting. With a career spanning several decades, he starred in numerous films that showcased his versatility and deep understanding of complex characters. His movies include; Men of the Century (Hook or Crook), Domitilla (1996) and The Curfew (2021).
