He revealed that a particular government official, whose name he chose not to mention, tried to ensure that the project never saw the light of day.
However, he credited the God he worships for coming to his rescue and making the project a reality. Chief Dr. Deji Adeleke, a renowned Nigerian businessman, is the President of Adeleke University and the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited.
He shared this story while speaking at a conference in Maryland, USA yesterday.
Dr Adedeji Adeleke, the father of popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke in a viral video opened up about the challenges he encountered while trying to build his $2,000,000,000 Billion power plant which is approximately ₦3,418,000,000,000 (Trillion power plant).
Chief Dr. Deji Adeleke, a renowned Nigerian businessman who is the President of Adeleke University and the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited shared this story while speaking at a conference in Maryland, USA yesterday, October 15th 2024.
He revealed that a particular government official, whose name he chose not to mention, tried to ensure that the project never saw the light of day.
However, he credited the God he worships for coming to his rescue and making the project a reality.
Davido dad stressed that he experienced issues the process of design and getting permit for the new power plant as a politician turns himself to God stressing that the project won’t come to pass.
Dr Adeleke noted that he wanted to build the biggest power plant which is 1250 mega watts so as to boost electricity in the country but the government official insisted that it won’t be possible.
He noted that he put the situation into the hands of God, but this development was not welcomed by his Chinese partner who has invested so much into the business.
According to his Chinese friend, God cannot do it as this is now a serious business issue but still, he believes so much in God. However, later he received a call from the Ministry of power telling him to visit the minister.
However, the minister who is the boss of the government official approved the mega power plant project in the absence of the government official who was flown to Germany due to his poor health.
Following the approval, his Chinese partner who does not believe in God has always tells him to report any difficulty about the mega power plant to God who has his way of doing things in a good way.
Dr Adeleke said that his 1250 megawatts power plant will be the biggest in Nigeria and will kickstart operation in January 2025. Watch the heartwarming video of Davido’s dad below;
