Nollywood actress, Bisola Badmus has revealed her ongoing struggle with a brain tumor, sharing details about her health condition in a recent video.
In a heartfelt conversation with colleague Kunle Afod, Badmus disclosed that she has been battling the brain tumor for three years, which has affected her ability to recognize people and impacted her daily life.
“For the past three years, I have been battling a brain tumor,” she stated. “There was a point where I couldn’t speak or recognize anyone. I have been on medication, and my condition is improving. They told me surgery wasn’t an option, so I’ve relied on drugs for the past two years. It’s not something I can just stop.”
Badmus attributed her condition to stress, saying, “What causes brain tumors is too much thinking.”
In another emotional interview with Biola Adebayo on Talk to B, Badmus shared her experiences with personal losses, including the deaths of her mother, father, and younger brother.
Within a few years, Badmus lost her dad, mom, and younger brother. The cumulative grief and financial strain have taken a toll on her well-being.
Despite the challenges, Badmus remains optimistic, thanking her colleagues and well-wishers for their unwavering support.
This revelation comes after Badmus disclosed in 2023 that she was dealing with encephalopathy, a condition affecting brain function.
