“I am that person God has helped” Wumi Toriola counts down to son’s 4th birthday with throwback photo
Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, is eagerly counting down to her son’s birthday and expressing her excitement.
On her Instagram page, she shared a throwback photo of herself during her pregnancy with her son.
In anticipation of his special day, Wumi decided to reminisce on her pregnancy days.
She acknowledged the help she received from God and expressed her gratitude for the journey so far.
“Tomorrow, my amazing son turns 4. All glory and adoration to the name of Jesus…”
Since it’s a Thursday, she chose to throw it back, remarking, “Chai, I am THAT person helped by God.”
In advance, she wished her son, Oluwafikayo, a happy birthday. The Nigerian date is 13/10, while the American date is 10/13.
On her son’s 3rd birthday last year, Wumi Toriola fervently prayed for him.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Yoruba actress offered powerful prayers for her toddler and expressed her gratitude to God for the gift of a child.
She rejoiced at the sound of “mama” that fills her heart with joy, acknowledging the immense joy, peace, blessings, and more that her son has brought to her life.
Undoubtedly, the movie star cherishes her son, especially considering her battle with infertility prior to his arrival.
In another lengthy Instagram post, she shared the struggles she faced before conceiving. After getting married, she and her husband decided to take a break before starting a family.
However, after six months without conception, she became worried and visited a fertility hospital with her husband to investigate the issue.
The doctor confirmed that both Wunmi Toriola and her husband were medically fine, but her eagerness to have a child led her to opt for Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), which unfortunately was unsuccessful.
Considering IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) after the failed IUI, she was miraculously blessed by God instead.
Unfortunately, Wumi confirmed last year that her marriage had ended, and she is no longer with her husband.
