reported that the movie star sparked tons of backlash after she declared Bobrisky, a Nigerian crossdresser, the Best Dressed Female at her movie premiere.
In an interview with Arise News TV, Eniola admitted that it was a deliberate action to pick Bobrisky as the winner as it was all a publicity stunt and marketing strategy to promote her movie. She noted how the crossdresser is a controversial person, hence, her decision to award him the Best Dressed Female to generate more buzz for her project.
She noted how people are dragging Femi Adebayo, who was oblivious to her schemes and was only trying to support her by being the presenter of the night.
Now in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, the movie star revealed that to make amends, she would be gifting the two women a million naira each. She penned a deep apology post to the Muslim community, women, Dayo Amusa, Femi Adebayo, and his wife and Bobrisky who were all affected by the scandal.
